I photograph weddings with a documentary heart and an editorial eye.
Honest moments. Artful direction. Film woven throughout.
Your Questions, Answered
-
I’m a wedding photographer who cares deeply about real moments and honest connection. I believe your wedding day should feel lived-in, not produced — and your photos should reflect that.
I approach each wedding with curiosity, calm energy, and a genuine respect for the people and relationships in front of me. No two days are the same, and I treat them that way
-
My work is rooted in documentary storytelling, with the flexibility to go editorial when it fits the day or your vision.
Most of the time, I’m observing — letting moments unfold naturally and capturing them as they happen. When it makes sense, I’ll step in with light, thoughtful direction to create images that feel intentional and elevated, without ever feeling forced.
Some weddings lean more documentary, some more editorial. Many live somewhere in between. I pay attention to the energy and let that guide the work.

You can expect a photographer who’s present, prepared, and genuinely invested in your day.
I’ll move through your wedding with a calm, observant energy — stepping back when moments are unfolding naturally and stepping in when a little guidance helps things feel intentional. I’ll help you feel comfortable in front of the camera without pulling you out of the experience or over-directing the day.
You can also expect clear communication, thoughtful planning, and someone who cares about more than just the final images. My goal is for you to feel supported from the first conversation through gallery delivery — and to walk away with photographs that feel honest, artful, and deeply personal.
Most of all, you can expect photos that reflect you — your people, your energy, and the way your day actually felt.
kind words
We hired Kat to photograph our wedding and she was truly amazing to work with! She was kind, fun, efficient, kept our day on schedule, and captured truly beautiful shots and moments. We also got all our photos back in a timely manner! She made us feel super comfortable in front of the camera, which was something that didn't come natural to us. She was a blast to hang out with all day- she so seamlessly integrated with our day that it felt like spending time with a friend. Overall it was just a blast working with her and I would recommend her x100000000!!!!

Kat photographed our wedding in Palm Springs this year and not only was a breeze to work with, but delivered the most timeless and beautiful photos. I asked for a few stylistic things that I hadn’t seen in her portfolio, and she beyond delivered. I actually found Kat in 2016 for a friend who was getting married, and we still look at and gush over those photos, as they don’t appear dated or “trendy” at all. Not only does Kat capture the small, intimate, candid, sweet moments beautifully, her editing style is so natural and timeless. It will never go out of style.. feels editorial and polished and classic, even looking at the photos she did 6 years ago. Kat was a top vendor in my wedding and has been now for several friends and now family.

If you are looking for a lifetime photographer look no further. We first met Kat when she photographed our engagement photos, it instantly felt like we were just hanging out with an old friend. She later photographed our wedding and I seriously would not have made it through the day without her. She goes above and beyond in not only her work, but beyond the duties of a photographer. She captures every moment so perfectly because she fits so naturally in them. We treasure the photos she has taken at this exciting stage and life and look forward to her capturing stages to come. I can not recommend her as a photographer and person enough.
